Our Tampa Wedding: The Ceremony

I have decided to break our wedding celebration up into multiple posts, and this is still just a small portion of photos from the amazing moments captured. This blog post features our Tampa wedding ceremony at CAVU, and I hope you enjoy them!

Also- I’ll link all of the basic wedding ceremony details at the bottom of this post.

OUR CEREMONY

For our wedding day, we wanted to get married in the city where we met and live- Tampa, Florida! It was important that we found a Tampa wedding venue that really felt true to us, and CAVU was the location that we both absolutely loved! We were drawn to its history, location in Tampa Heights, and it’s industrial style interior. Since the venue itself was so beautiful, we felt we did not need to do much in terms of decoration.

For decorations, we took inspiration from our love of flowers and the venue itself. Jonathan loves gardening and really wanted to use Florida native flowers for our wedding. The Florida wildflowers became a huge inspiration for our overall wedding decorations and we decided to go all-in on a “modern bohemian” style. I sourced the decorations from quite a few different places and we even used some things from our house!! For instance, the Turkish rug we used for our wedding alter is actually from our living room.
