Today I’m sharing five of my favorite playlists for when I’m working on design projects!
What makes a great playlist for designers to get work done?
It has been a dream of mine to open a coffee shop for as long as I remember! And one of the things I always think about is, “what kind of music would I play in my cafe”? When searching for new music and work playlists, there are always some important characteristics to them!
- Does the playlist have enough songs to keep going for a long time? If I am super fosued on design work, then I don’t want to have to search for another playlist!
- Does the playlist provide good background noise and are the songs not too distracting? Most of my recommended playlists for designers are either chill beats or playlists with mellow songs! Although I love a good singalong song, concentration is still key!

It was so hard to narrow down my playlist ideas, but below are 5 Spotify playlists that I always keep in my rotation! YouTube also has a great selection of playlists, but I love that I can also favorite songs, save them for offline, and create my own playlist if any songs stick out to me!
